Thoughts on CompTIA Networking Tech Support Interactive Certification Training
If we didn't have a constant influx of trained network and computer support personnel, commercial enterprise throughout the country (and around the world) would surely be brought to its knees. Consequently, there's an ever growing requirement for people to support both users and the systems they work with. Because we're all becoming more and more reliant on our PC's, we in turn become increasingly more reliant upon the skilled and qualified networking professionals, who maintain those systems.
The world of information technology is one of the most electrifying and revolutionary industries you could be involved with. Being up close and personal with technology puts you at the fore-front of developments affecting everyone who lives in the 21st century. We've only just begun to see just how technology is going to shape our lives. Computers and the Internet will significantly change the way we view and interrelate with the entire world over the next few years.
A standard IT worker in Great Britain will also receive a lot more than his or her counterpart in other market sectors. Standard IT remuneration packages are some of the best to be had nationwide. The good news is there is not a hint of a downturn for IT expansion throughout this country. The industry continues to grow quickly, and we don't have anywhere near enough qualified skilled IT professionals to fill current job vacancies, so it's most unlikely that there'll be any kind of easing off for quite some time to come.
With all the options available, does it really shock us that a large majority of students have no idea which career they could be successful with. Because having no commercial skills in IT, in what way could we be expected to know what a particular job actually consists of? Achieving any kind of right decision can only grow through a thorough examination covering many varying areas:
* What hobbies you're involved with in your spare-time - as they can show the possibilities will provide a happy working life.
* For what reasons you're moving into computing - maybe you want to triumph over a long-held goal such as self-employment maybe.
* The income requirements that guide you?
* Considering the huge variation that computing covers, it's important to be able to understand what is different.
* It's wise to spend some time thinking about the amount of time and effort that you will set aside for gaining your certifications.
To completely side-step all the jargon and confusion, and find the best route for you, have an informal chat with an industry-experienced advisor; someone who will cover the commercial realities and truth as well as the certifications.
Many trainers offer a Job Placement Assistance facility, to help you into your first commercial role. Sometimes, there is more emphasis than is necessary on this service, as it's relatively easy for any motivated and trained individual to get a job in the IT environment - because there's a great need for qualified personnel.
Having said that, it's important to have help and assistance with preparing a CV and getting interviews though; also we would encourage everyone to work on polishing up their CV the day they start training - don't wait until you've graduated or passed any exams. Various junior support roles have been bagged by students who are still studying and have yet to take their exams. At the very least this will get you on your way. In many cases, a specialist locally based recruitment consultancy (who will, of course, be keen to place you to receive their commission) is going to give you a better service than a recruitment division from a training organisation. They should, of course, also be familiar with the local area and commercial needs.
Various men and women, apparently, are prepared to study their hearts out (sometimes for years), only to do nothing special when attempting to secure the right position. Sell yourself... Do your best to get in front of employers. Don't think a job's just going to jump out in front of you.
